Best XM4 Gear, Black Ops 6 Beta Class Build

This best XM4 equipment This will probably be the first weapon you equip Black Ops 6 beta, because as is the case with almost every Call of Duty game, the versatile assault rifle is one of the first — and best — items you’ll unlock.

While only a fraction of what’s in the full game is available, there are plenty of attachments to choose from as you level up the XM4. You’ll want to play to the XM4’s strengths—decimating from a distance while staying up close—so the attachments and class we’ve chosen will be tailored to that.

Before we begin, since the beta is only available for a confined time, we haven’t selected attachments that require the weapon to be at max level (in the case of the XM4, it’s level 46) as that’s not feasible in the beta and we want to make sure the build is accessible to everyone.

This is the best XM4 kit in the game Black Ops 6 beta:

  • Optical: PrismaTech Reflection
  • Barrel: Long Barrel
  • Underbarrel: Vertical front grip
  • Rear handle: Quickdraw handle
  • Warehouse: Light spare

For starters, the XM4 has a fairly restrictive iron sight, so using an optical attachment is a must. The first one you unlock, PrismaTech Reflectionis more than adequate to solve this problem. Alternatively, if you are using other weapons available in the beta, the Volzhskiy Reflex is a solid choice, but requires you to first level up your AK-74 to five.

At first, all you need is the Gain-Twist Barrel attachment, but once you unlock it, Long Barrel at level 21 you’ll want to equip it. It helps a lot in long range fights as the damage radius is greatly increased. In a similar vein, Vertical front grip will lend a hand you stay on target, although at level 20 you can opt for the Precision foregrip.

All previous expansions were designed for long-range combat, so to make sure you can compete at close range, choose Quickdraw handle which increases ADS speed. Ergonomic Grip is probably better, but at level 39 there’s a good chance you won’t unlock it during the beta window.

At the end we have Light spare. This is the only attachment you can choose something else for – probably the Heavy Stock – depending on whether you want more lend a hand up close or far away. The Light Stock means your hip-fire and side-to-side movement speeds are increased, which can be huge when you’re caught off guard up close, but if you’re having trouble hitting from a distance due to the twitch, go for the Heavy Stock instead.

The best XM4 class in Black Ops 6

This is the best XM4 class to utilize in Black Ops 6 beta:

  • Secondary: GS45
  • Fight: Knife
  • Tactical: Concussion
  • Mortal: Frag
  • Terrain upgrade: Trophy system
  • Profit 1: Ghost
  • Profit 2: Abstract
  • Profit 3: Vigilance
  • Specialty: Profit greed
  • Profit greed: Flak jacket

Options are confined in the beta, so it’s a fairly standard class with a pistol, stun gun, and frag grenade as other deadly options. Trophy system is the best choice of terrain upgrade as it prevents any incoming projectiles and once you are in range it is one of the main ways to eliminate you.

Perks are the most engaging part of this class because we utilize the specialization system. If you equip three perks of the same color, you will get a bonus perk. In this case, Ghost, EngineerAND Vigilance are all blue perks, so we get the Scout specialization, which gives us x-ray vision for a few moments after respawning so we can see the outlines of enemies, we get a HUD flash (heads up display) when an enemy is out of our field of view, and we don’t leave death skulls behind when we kill enemies.

Ghost means you’re imperceptible to enemy radars and drones while moving or interacting, Engineer lets you see enemy equipment and scorestreaks through walls, and Vigilance displays a HUD icon whenever you appear on an enemy’s minimap. AND makes you immune to Counter UAV, Scrambler, and Sleeper Agent (though the latter two are apparently not available in the beta).

Finally, we have the Wildcard. The two options in the beta are Overkill, which lets you equip a second primary weapon or Profit greedwhich gives you an additional choice of perk. We chose the latter because XM4 is so well suited to all types of engagement, and the perk we chose was Flak jacketto protect you from explosive damage when you don’t have the Trophy System enabled.
