Top teams and strategies

Proposed teams for the first half:

The first half consists of one multi-wave mob chamber and two boss chambers. If you want, you can take a mob-focused team into the first chamber, then switch to a more boss-focused team after you get three stars.

I recommend taking it with you at least one Electro character to counter ASIMON. However, if you have enough damage, you can either take out ASIMON before it becomes undetectable, or wait for its invisibility period to end naturally.

Proposed teams for the second half:

  • Neuvillette – Furina – Baizhu – Kazuha
  • Ganyu/Ayaka – Venti – Shenhe – Kokomi
  • Raiden – Xingqiu – Yelan – Venti/Kazuha

The chambers in the second half are all multi-wave mobbing floors. Crowd control units such as Venti, Kazuha or Sucrose They are great at dealing with multiple enemies.

Remember to take plenty with you Hydro too. There are two Pyro Abyss Lectors in Room 2. You can group them with an Anemo unit, which will aid your Hydro attacks hit both Lectors at once.

Blessing of the Transfusion Moon

When a character receives healing, they will gain a buff to their ability damage. This ability can be triggered while the character is off-field, which benefits off-field DPS units like Albedo and Furina. A healer that heals the entire team at once is best suited to triggering a blessing on your entire team. As long as you have a healer everyone sort, but you should be able to benefit from this buff to varying degrees. Navia, for example, appreciates the ability damage buff when she swaps to fire her gunbrella.

Don’t bother building your team around this blessing. It’s a good buff, but mostly because it’s so elastic. The blessing should work for most teams, as long as you have a healer.

First half

Wave 1: 3x Primary Constructs
Wave 2: 1x Ruin Guardian
Wave 3: 2x Ruin Drakes
Wave 4: 2x Eremite Summoners (Pyro and Anemo)

Second half

Wave 1: 1x Dendro Samachurl, 2x Pyro Abyss Mages
Wave 2: 2x Pyro Abyss Lectors
Wave 3: 2x Black Knight Snake

Tips

When the Primal Constructs become undetectable, you can run Quicken on them to stun them and make them vulnerable to attacks. However, if your team deals enough damage, you can defeat them before they can become undetectable. The enemies themselves aren’t too much of a problem, but you’ll need enough DPS to deal with four waves before the timer gets too low.

When Pyro Abyss Lectors are low on health, they will shield themselves with a Pyro shield. This shield can only be depleted by reactions. Bring at least one Hydro user with you to empty shields with Vaporize. Lectors can be grouped with Anemo’s abilities, so Kazuha and Venti are also good choices. Lectors will also summon a Pyro meteor with its own shield bar; be sure to prioritize them, as they will make the Lectors vulnerable to attacks when destroyed.

First half

Wave 1: Maguu Kenki

Second half

Wave 1: 2x Kairagi (Pyro and Electro)
Wave 2: 2x Mexes damping
Wave 3: 2x Geo Rifhounds
Wave 4: 1x Construction Mech, 1x Arithmetic Boost Mech, 1x Assault Mech

Tips

The Maguu Kenki in the first half is the base version of the boss, rather than the triple Kenki in the last cycles of Abyss. This should be a much easier challenge; just remember that he’ll briefly become invulnerable and do a substantial AoE slam at about two-thirds of his health.

The second half is a mobbing floor. The enemies themselves aren’t particularly tough; just DPS them as swift as you can. Rifthounds will gradually drain your HP if they hit you, so bring a healer if you’re worried about losing too much HP.

First half

Wave 1: ASIMON

Second half

Wave 1: 1x Dumb Pyro Agent, 2x Dumb Pyroslinger
Wave 2: 1x Sacred Vulture, 2x Bubble Seahorses
Wave 3: 1x Sacred Scorpion, 2x Shield Crabs

Tips

A few seconds into the fight, ASIMON will become undetectable and immune to damage. You can track where he is if you have skill marks (e.g. Nahida’s Seed of Skanda, Childe’s Riptide), debuffs, or elements on the enemy. Use Quicken (Electro + Dendro) on the boss while undetectable to stun him and make him vulnerable to attacks.

If you can’t start Quicken, destroy its structures and then apply Electro to his towers while he regenerates. This will also stun ASIMON, though it will take a bit longer.

Alternatively, if your team deals enough damage, you can take out ASIMON before he can turn undetectable.

The second half is two waves of hyper-aggressive Consecrated Beasts. Try to focus on the Consecrated Beasts as much as possible, as they pose the biggest threat. Freeze the teams are very convenient in this chamber. The beasts cannot hit you if they are permanently frozen!
