Best Games to Buy During the ID@Xbox Sale

Galactic Deep Rock This is one of my favorite games from the last few years. In the midst of a terrible pandemic, I I renewed relationships with my closest friends in the world in games like this and Left for the dead. Cooperative first-person shooters, where you face endless attacks from enemies, are simply a wonderful recipe for the most fun you can imagine in games, and Galactic Deep Rock touches that vein for all its worth. You are dwarves who have been sent on hellish expeditions to mine resources for an obviously awful corporation, and I love how much Galactic Deep Rock seems designed to facilitate a workplace sitcom. You’ve had a terrible day in the mines, but when you get back to your base there’s a bar where you can all drink and dance, and little secrets and games hidden around that you can engage in while you engage in idle, late-night banter with your mates.

Apart from that, Galactic Deep Rock is one of the most accessible live-service games out there, with a deeply affable and quirky community that casually shouts “Rock and Stone” at each other. It has a seasonal model, but each season is completely free, and the developers have even made it possible to go back and unlock every Battle Pass that has come and gone. The game is also insanely deep, offering four distinct character classes with their own weapons, tools, skill trees, and customization options. And if you want to get particularly hardcore, you can always crank up the difficulty of your missions or dive into endgame dives. Deep rock has something for everyone, and the game is a real bargain at just $10. It’s also available on Game Pass.
