Battlefield 6 servers ‘should be’ ready for Friday’s release date, developer says – Open beta ‘helped gauge interest’

Battlefield 6servers will be ready for Friday’s launch, one of the game’s creators insisted.

Battlefield lead producer at DICE, David Sirland, he replied when asked on X/Twitter about the server’s readiness with a confident “it should be!”

He’s not wrong that beta helps gauge interest. Battlefield 6 became the series’ largest beta ever, reaching its highest number of concurrent users There are 521,079 players on Steam alone, which results in a long queue for those trying to get into the August Open Beta. Time will tell whether the full, paid version will bring such a draw – but we’ll find out on Friday.

Battlefield 6 will premiere on October 10 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S.
