Battlefield 6 Battle Royale Shadow-Drop Coming Soon – EA Plans RedSEC Gameplay Reveal Tomorrow

Published:

Long leaking Battlefield 6 Battle Royale gameplay will seemingly be overshadowed on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | Coming soon, with the full gameplay reveal for Battlefield REDSEC, which launches tomorrow morning.

EA and Battlefield Studios have (finally) confirmed plans to pull back the curtain on the recent free Battlefield mode via social media Today. AND Battlefield REDSEC official gameplay trailer now premieres tomorrow, October 28, at 8:00 a.m. PT/11:00 a.m. EST, and its description promises a surprise release. This news follows months of rumors and leaks suggesting that a Battle Royale for Battlefield 6 is imminent.

Those who have enjoyed Battlefield 6 since its launch on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | We were expected to hear news about the proper free Battle Royale experience on October 10 when Season 1 was actually introduced last week. However, as early details about EA and BF Studios’ latest release came and went, there was no indication that many were expecting a major recent game mode to fall in love with.

This was weird, especially as a reference to Battlefield 6’s Battle Royale game mode it started leaking as early as July 2025. The popular last team fight gameplay is nothing recent to the series and remains popular with shooter fans, so with Battlefield promising a return to its roots with destructible environments and brutal gameplay, another blow to the battle royale mode seemed obvious at the time. Then community manager Kevin Johnson confirmed that BF Studios had indeed started working on such a mode in Augustadding that initially, only people involved in the Battlefield 6 closed testing program, i.e. Battlefield Labs, will be able to play the game.

Since then, official updates have been silent, but that hasn’t stopped Labs testers from creating buzz. Battle royale on the battlefield the gameplay was released online in Septemberconfirming that swimming, fighting and destruction have been transferred to this recent experience. Just as quickly as EA covered up the leaks, more soon appeared on social media.

The Battle Royale game mode for Battlefield 6’s first season has been all but confirmed, even as news of the first major content drop spread without confirmation from BF Studios. Things really got worse last Friday when Modern Warzone reported it Battle Royale disappeared with the first season of Battlefield 6 under the title Battlefield REDSEC.

Even with so little official information from the developers, it appears that Battlefield 6’s Battle Royale release will be confirmed tomorrow morning. Lab leaks occurred many months ago, so it is unknown what content was included in the launch version of Battlefield REDSEC.

We’ll learn more about the recent Battlefield 6 gameplay mode in less than 24 hours when the trailer premieres. Until then, you can read about how EA and BF Studios did everything in their power to fight the leaks – even if they knew it was an uphill battle. You can also check all changes that will be introduced in the first season of Battlefield 6 AND one skin that still holds the community in its arms.
