The long -awaited 8 Baldur’s Gate 3 patch is currently available to players on PS5 … But it shouldn’t be like that.
IN Post on social media todayThe official Larian Studios account has revealed that PS5 players really have access to patch 8 through something that seems to be somewhere by accident, because the patch itself is not ready for the best time.
“No, the Strach 8 extreme test has not yet begun,” we read in the post. “Yes, PS5 players currently have access to Patch 8.
“How’s your Monday?”
Patch 8 was first announced in December and is the last important update that Baldur’s Gate 3 is expected. It is planned to add progression and playback, photographic mode and 12 new subclasses, as well as new skills, animations, VFX, calls, calls, Cortrips and even voice voices. This is a huge update, which promises that it will really shake a year and a half after the premiere, and although it apparently will appear this month, today’s PS5 release seems to jump a bit from the pistol.
At the end of last month, Larian opened a registration to the attempt at the extreme conditions of Patch 8, which he opened for players on PC via Steam and on the console via Xbox and PlayStation. However, this test of extreme conditions has not yet happened, and as Larian wrote, the release on PS5 is not a test of extreme conditions.
For now, it is probably recommended that PS5 players do not download this patch, in case it involves unintentional errors or other problems, and as Larian says, the writing will not be compatible with Patch 7, if you have to go back for any reason. Continue caution here.
But the good news is that even if it was a mistake, it sounds as if Larian is approaching Patch 8 seriously. We will be careful about news about the actual tests of extreme conditions and the version itself, which seems to be what we called the game 10/10 during the premiere.
