Mainnet Launch and Developer Commitments
The launch of the B3.fun main network will include over 20 game studios that will create casual or hyper-casual games on the platform. B3 announced that it will focus its efforts on business development and growth primarily in Asia, especially South Korea and Japan.
Leading on-chain game developers include Mighty Bear Games, Parallel, Echelon Prime Ecosystem, Nifty Island, Infinigods, GameCoin, Anomaly, Wanderers, MetaStreet, DEAR by ARPA, Iskra and many others.
BSMNT.fun bridges the gap between Web2 and Web3 games
Saemi Kim, Director of the Player1 Foundation, which oversees the management and operations of B3, highlighted the growing convergence of Web2 and Web3 games. The momentum for growth in popularity is growing as major companies like Ubisoft, Zynga, and Nexon incorporate chain elements into their games.
“Our discovery platform, BSMNT.fun, brings together traditional Web2 and Web3 games, changing the way players will find and experience onchain games in a way that will appeal to both traditional players and blockchain enthusiasts,” Kim said.
Future plans and cooperation
B3 will initially support games based on Ethereum, Base, and other Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) chains, with plans to include games from other chains such as Solana. Collaborations with major developers promise electrifying launch titles from Mighty Bear, Parallel, Infinigods and others.
The launch of B3.fun on the Base mainnet marks a significant milestone in the gaming industry, demonstrating the potential of blockchain technology to revolutionize gaming experiences. With robust support from NPC Labs and a focus on user experience, B3.fun is poised to make a significant impact in the Web3 gaming space.
