Axie Infinity introduced “Wings of Nightmare”, a fresh mechanic that adds partial evolution to the game and expands its story. This event allows players to transform certain basic axis parts into Nightmare Parts, known as “Stage 2 Nightmare Parts”. These transformations are constrained to a maximum supply of 39,000 units.

The event includes two fresh narrative concepts within the framework Infinity Axia universe: Lunacian’s Dream World and Nightmare Landscape. According to the game’s mythology, the Dream World is a land only accessible through sleepwho once represented absolute goodness. However, it split into two opposing dimensions due to the corruption of the god Atia, a descendant of the goddess Noma. A nightmare, described as A obscure and threatening zone, it is home to unique creatures and flora that pose sedate challenges to those who dare to explore them.

The basic mechanics of the event revolve around evolution and deconstruction of axial parts. Players must identify the z-axes one of 24 eligible core parts to develop them. This process requires collecting specific information materials including AXS as evolution fee and souvenirsalthough no additional resources are needed to obtain the Nightmare Piece. After collecting the materials, you can start the evolution on the official platform, with the option complete it immediately or wait 96 hours.
Achievements and awards
Additionally, a consumable called “Dark Flame”, enabling deconstruction of already developed Nightmare Parts. This process, called “Devolution of the nightmare part”, has 5% chance transformation of the donkey’s body into “Nightmare Body“
“Nightmare Wings” too offers rewards for reaching Axis evolution and transformation milestones. Which can encourage community participation. According to the developers, this event is one of the most significant premieres since the implementation of the parts evolution mechanics in Axie Core.
