Avengers Endgame directors received $5 million for not making a League Of Legends movie

In 2021 Netflix League of Legends animated tv show, Secrethas become one of the streaming giant’s biggest hits for years. However, apart Secret, Lots of laughs Riot Games is reportedly having difficulty turning the MOBA game into a larger entertainment series. Part of the problem appears to be a lack of experience, which led to Riot Games having to pay two famed directors $5 million NO to do League of Legends movie.

Diversity reports that at one point Riot “rethought” the original approach the company was taking with the Russos, which cost the studio a lot of money. The Russo brothers were reportedly paid $5 million to leave the project due to a poorly negotiated contract with the directors.

Representatives for the Russos and Riot declined to deliver Diversity with a comment on a failed film project.

said Riot co-founder and chief product officer Marc Merril Diversity that the company was still involved in producing television shows and films, but admitted that it was still learning how to do it.

“Our entertainment ambitions have not changed,” Merrill said Diversity. “We never intended to operate like a customary studio with customary schedules.
