My first thought, when I saw Asus Rog Pelta, was: “Really, Asus went for that name?” The second thought was “boy, they really feel like Steelseries Arctis Nova 7”. This second thought is certainly not bad.
Pelta has a particularly cushioned and comfortable consistency – one that does not stand out in the appearance department, but is very appreciated after a long day of work. In the summer months of their delicate, a breathable consistency is a welcome row with virtuoso Corsair Max, which I used earlier every day.
Because it is a headphone set for games, ROG Pelta is inevitably equipped with RGB lighting on the side – with all the traps of battery sucking – but it is otherwise relatively undercoat. MIC can even be disconnected, which, combined with the fact that Pelta can connect to the phone or tablet via Bluetooth, makes it a reliable choice if you want to go for a walk with him.
Do not worry about overheating your ears, and the strength of the delicate clamp gives the headset a tiny protection against external sounds. Certainly there is no vigorous cancellation of noise that I do not have against him at this price, but he performs a satisfactory job of immersion in music on the go.
Asus Rog Pelta Specifications
None of this would matter if the sound was not robust, but fortunately these 50 mm titanium drivers go through clear and noisy.
In Doom: The Dark Eges, every centimeter of game music is well tuned in the headphone set, pulsing and hitting a step with powerful game guitars. However, the feeling of Slayer’s feet stamping on the pavement does not quite match the weight that I expected with standard EQ settings.
Pumping the bass certainly helps, but the headphone set does not have a wurble that you may want from true bass. It is appropriate, but not quite yes true Sounding like some headphone sets.
Mids and ups are, however, clear and well tuned. Sound orders are coming well, and directional atmospheric sounds are advisable and simple to choose. This makes listening to steps in such as Valorant is extremely simple. At its price, Pelta really provides drivers.
Metal buzzers and rhythmic Buckshot roulette blow, which adds the already terrifying atmosphere, well, every second part of the game. The comfort of the headphone set only adds this feeling, it is never dared to interfere with the immersion in every game you play. He also copes well with music.
Jazzy, Vibey Soundtrack Genesis Noir, smoothly spilled from ASUS ROG Pelta, both with squeaking silky saxophones and the squeezed sight of jazz jazz brushes.
In the UK, ROG Pelta has undergone even 95 pounds, and I do not think that I could replace one headphone set that I would choose now through Pelta. However, the United States is not so good that only a few dollars from the headphone set here and there.
At this point, he fights with Turtle Beach Atlas Air and SteelSeries Arctis Nova 5x. It is over 100 USD cheaper than Delta II and certainly does not seem to be a budget option when it comes to its sound.
In addition to coming from Bluetooth, Pelta has a 2.4 GHz USB-C key and can be connected via USB-C. The only option of communication that is really missing is the 3.5 mm port, but the amount of versatility that you would gain from this switching on would actually worsen the side control.
When they stand, ear controls are completely fine and only on the left ear (like Arctis Nova Pro). The volume wheel can easily be accessed, and then the switch between communication modes is switched, and the withdrawal of the microphone makes the red delicate pop up from the side, which is great when you forgot if you are muted or not.
The only place that can improve is the quick switching of the microphone or some mechanism of a clever Mute MIC, because it is a button on my left ears, and one that always takes me a few moments.
Listen to the microphone test here:
MIC works around the center of the package for its price range, passing quite clearly, but not even beating even a cheaper dedicated microphone. At meetings and games, I never felt that I would put the noise.
Pelta has 90 hours of battery life in Bluetooth mode with RGB lighting and a microphone on mute. This number drops to 60 hours with lighting on. Pelta gains up to 70 hours of power with the lighting off, and the microphone emerged in 2.4 GHz mode, and 45 hours with them was turned on. I practically charged the headphone set only when this thought came to my mind and never ended. Fast charging means that you can reach up to 3 hours of listening with a 15-minute load, which means that if it ends, starting it is not too troublesome.
Buy if …
✅ You want a headphone set that is delicate and comfortable: Thanks to the fluffy consistency on the pitches and its lightweight weight, Pelta will reach a worthy amount in the heat and did not irritate me after all days of operate.
✅ is on sale: Pelta is at a reasonable price, but in some sales it has become the only headphone set that I personally collected at my price.
Do not buy if …
❌ You want a bulky headset: Although I did not feel that the headphone set was willing to break, it is definitely a fairly delicate compilation and I would not trust that it would be thrown.
❌ You like the bass killer: The bass in Pelta works well, but there is no ratchet that some headphone sets have. The thunderous bass solo does not resound through your body if you want such a fate.
ROG software, Armory Crate Gear, is actually exactly what I want: barely noticeable. It can change some AI noise filtering settings for the microphone, adjust the EQ, adjust the lighting and, more importantly, get up to the firmware updates if necessary.
If I could describe my time with Asus Rog Pelta in one word, I would say smoothly. It is convenient, with a fit battery life, a decent microphone and a great sound. The bass is a bit disappointing, but it is one of the few real defects at a reasonable price.
Lightweight material and great lining were an absolute benefit in warmer months, and the connectivity is silky and swift, without cutting out in all evenings spent in the game delayed at night.
Pelta’s price point is hard for most headphones, because there is such a high competition for slightly above 100 USD, but its quality means that despite this it is not drowned.
