When it comes to Ndemic Creation’s iconic disease spreading simulation, Plague Inc, one of the most challenging scenarios was the Necroa virus. This undead disease required you to turn the entire world’s population into, well, zombies. But have you ever wondered what happened? After this scenario?
Well, Ndemic is content to answer this question in its upcoming release, After Inc. Instead of focusing on destroying the world or managing other real-world scenarios, hypothetical or otherwise, After Inc puts you in the shoes of the few survivors of the Necroa virus.
You’ll have to rebuild civilization from the ground up, managing the demands of your people and balancing the need for survival with the desire to create a brighter tomorrow. Whether it’s balancing democracy and authoritarianism or deciding whether dogs are better suited as food than friends, you’ll have to make complex choices to survive natural hazards and the ever-looming zombie threat.
Once finished
It’s not challenging to see the inherent appeal in something like After Inc, and given the pedigree that Ndemic has established over the years, developing and updating both Plague Inc and their various spin-offs, it’s intriguing to see them return to the universe and explore the aftermath of these hypothetical pandemic scenarios.
Although we don’t have an official release date yet, I’d venture to guess that we won’t be rebuilding civilization until next year at the earliest. But anyway, suffice it to say, I’m particularly excited about this release. So be sure to sign up because pre-registration is now available on After Inc for iOS and Android!
