Things are never too routine for long in Helldivers 2, and the latest twist seems to come in the form of this Chief Order’s up-to-date villains – the automated Jet Brigade – temporarily shown as attacking every bug and bot-controlled sector on the map. Fortunately, they didn’t actually do that.
In case you’re not up to date, the game’s latest MO, which involves the relentless quest to build a up-to-date space station, has tasked humans with repelling an attack by a fresh force of automatons led by an “enhanced” group of enemies called the “Jet Brigade.” .

While players are currently busy fighting this force for control of Marfark, earlier in the day many players reported feeling a little scared after looking at the galactic map and seeing the scenario outlined in the post below. Yes, that’s the Jet Brigade shown attacking a whole bunch of places in both automaton and terminid controlled space.
As you can imagine, there was quite a bit of that initial terrorbefore the humans landed on the Terminid side to see if bots had suddenly appeared on those planets, and fortunately discovered that they had not. The map display appears to have returned to normal shortly after the false alarm occurred.
The surprisingly pragmatic consensus among players as to what caused this is that it must have simply been some sort of visual glitch, with Arrowhead potentially intended to simply have ships appear on the automatic map page and randomly trigger an invasion to show instead on both fronts.
That said, given how often Arrowhead blurs the lines when it comes to brazenly introducing glitches, teases, and reveals as part of the art of galactic combat, there are still many who believe that the next in-game message from the studio will include a line about bots that they briefly broke into Super Earth’s displays. If nothing else, the episode spawned some amusing memes.
