Spongebob fans, rejoice – one of the character games suddenly appeared on PS5 and PS4.
SPONGEBOB port: Krusty Cook-off is now available for Sony consoles, they seem unceremoniously on July 2, 2025.
So what is it? Well, here is an extremely compact trailer of the Nintendo Switch version:
Basically, spongebob: Krusty cook-off looks like a spin to the bottom of the bikini on the chef, serve, delicious. You are preparing a variety of groceries – including, of course, Krabby Patties – as orders pass.
During the game you will visit various locations from the series, unlock novel recipes, decorate places, acquire novel costumes and modernization of equipment. As the official blurb puts this:
Create your own Bikini Bikini cuisine, decorate and adjust the restaurant and get ready to give guests delicious food! In this Fast Food game, cook your time management skills and experience the crazy cooking action of the SpongeBob universe. Fire the grill and get ready for cooking!
Interestingly, this is a redesigned version of what was once a mobile game. The mobile version was free and combined with microtransactions, but all this was scrubbed from the console version, with all content to unlock through progression.
Although no microtransactions do it a more tasty proposition, this is free; PlayStation versions will restore you 14.99 USD/11.99 £.
Reviews of the switch version are not much and far between and very mixed, so maybe continue caution. From the place where we sit, it looks good what it is; If you like cook games, passing, delicious or diner games, it is potentially worth pop.
