Developer DON’T NOD has released a brand recent trailer for its 2026 sci-fi adventure. The brand recent trailer confirms the presence of a second playable character that provides a different perspective for Ariane, and that recent character is fellow astronaut Thomas. Both characters have different ways of dealing with things, with Ariane being more physical when she moves, while Thomas uses his mind to put everything together due to his injury.
The recent Aphelion trailer also shows a creature from the planet Persephone, named Nemesis, stalking both astronauts and unable to fight back. Both Ariane and Thomas will have to hide and move stealthily to avoid detection. Ariane and Thomas are not together on this journey, but are looking for each other after crashing on Persephone’s planet.
Aphelion is scheduled to release on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S in 2026.
