Amazon announces Prime Gaming deal for August 2024

Amazon has announced its Prime Gaming deal for August 2024 (Prime Gaming is a benefit of Amazon Prime membership).

Highlights include SteamWorld Heist, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, Loop Hero, and various Tomb Raider games. Prime Gaming is set to launch in August with 22 games coming every Thursday throughout the month.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is a critically acclaimed 2016 action RPG from Eidos-Montréal and the sequel to Deus Ex: Human Revolution. IGN’s Deus Ex: Mankind Divided review gave it a 9.2. We said, “Deus Ex: Mankind Divided’s layered, intelligent, and impeccably designed gameplay rewards curiosity and creativity.”

Unfortunately, the Deus Ex series was put on hold after franchise owner Embracer reportedly canceled work on a fresh game that had been in development for two years, resulting in staff layoffs.
