  • Discover different personalities depending on age

Kemco has officially announced the launch of Alter Age, inviting everyone to dive into the old-school JRPG experience on iOS and Android. The retro-inspired title spices things up a bit by introducing a group of age-changing adventurers, so you can expect some captivating personality changes thrown into the mix as you explore the quirky narrative.

In Alter Age, you play as teenage protagonist Arga, who stumbles upon the Soul Alter class, which allows him to change forms of himself and his companions. You’ll go from a teenager to an adult with different personalities, adding a fun little twist to your average quest to save the world.

These alternating ages also come into play during combat, with adult characters offering different skill sets than pre-teen characters. Teen characters have more powerful skills but employ up more resources, while adult characters offer more proficient skills that thrive in providing support. All of this is presented in pixel art that can make you feel all sorts of nostalgia for the good aged days of RPGs.
