Let’s start with the most popular: Dennies. This basic currency helps you upgrade your characters and weapon levels. It also allows you to buy in-game items like coffee, which gives you a bonus to getting certain materials. If you’ve played Genshin Impact, Dennies are basically Mora. You can get Dennies by completing missions and completing tasks in Primer, among other things.
Gear Coins are collected during Hollow Exploration missions. They give you access to locked doors that provide bonuses behind them.
Polychromes are rewards for completing missions, reaching milestones, completing achievements, and more. They can be exchanged to craft Master Tapes and Encrypted Master Tapes for pulling. They can also be used to level up your Battle Pass (New Eridu City Funds) and restore Battery Charge. They are basically like Primogems with Genshin Influence.
What do the main tapes and residual signals provide?
Master Tapes and Encrypted Master Tapes are used to obtain Agents (Characters) and W-Engines, which improve your character’s stats. Master Tapes are for non-event characters, known as the Stable Channel. The Exclusive Channel uses Encrypted Master Tapes, which are provided by time-limited characters such as Ellen Joe. The latter are therefore more valuable. Master Tapes can be obtained by trading Polychromes and checking in daily.
Another currency worth keeping an eye out for is Plating Agents. They are used to upgrade disk drives and lend a hand improve agents in battles. They can be earned by completing battles on VR devices, dismantling disk drives, and during combat simulations.
To further improve your agents, W-Engine Energy Modules can do wonders. They are used to upgrade your W-Engine and raise its effectiveness, similar to its base attack stat. You will receive them by completing missions, finishing Combat Simulations, and trading them in the Residual Energy Exchange.
Finally, Residual Signals are collected from your agent pulls. They are used to unlock characters, Encrypted Master Tapes, and regular Master Tapes in the shop.
