Evaluation is a competitive, tactical online shooter and as such I never expected it to have seasons in the same way a game of this type Rainbow Six Siege yes. However, the game has a similar system in its episodes and acts that helps players immerse themselves in novel content without feeling overwhelmed.
Episode in Evaluation usually lasts about six months in total, with three acts per episode, each lasting about two months, giving players the time they need to get excited about the novel content, enjoy it, play it too much, and repeat the cycle. Seasonal content models can feel awkward, especially if the missions are time-limited, as in Destiny 2If you’re novel to the game or have been playing for a while, it can be arduous to keep track of where and when all the novel content is coming from.
