“Free Big Brother!“this is the level in The Serpent Star Path nebula in Astrobot. It has three pieces of the puzzle, seven bots (three of them are PlayStation mascots) and secret exit for you to find.
In this Astrobot In this guide, we’ll show you how to get all the collectibles in this level so you can fill your Crash Site.
All bots in “Free Big Brother!”
“Free Big Brother!” is not as linear as some of the other levels in the game Astrobotand you’ll have access to the entire area throughout the mission – meaning you can’t be denied access to any collectibles.
The first bot is right in front of Big Brother’s head while he’s still tethered to the beach. In front of him you’ll find two pillar platforms, the higher one of which has a sticky green enemy trying to attack the generic bot.
The second bot is located on a hollowed out stone platform just to the right of where you start, across from Big Brother’s head. You can get there a few ways, including simply jumping from where you saved the first bot in the level. But the intended way is to employ the bird on the right side of the map and swing around.
The third bot is located on the right side of the map, near the glass floor and one of the airlocks. On the upper cliff, you will see a glass wall that you cannot reach by yourself. To get there, head to the glass floor and look for an alcove on the right side. Hover over the glass to break it and reveal a trampoline that will launch you onto the cliff. Punch the glass to reveal a portal that will lead you to the bot.
In the portal, you’ll find several electric enemies surrounding the platform where the bot is hiding. Kill the enemies – be careful not to fall through the floor – then blast through the glass with your laser until you find a trampoline. Ride the trampoline to the bot and hit it to save it.
The fourth bot won’t be available until you’ve broken all the locks and freed Big Brother. Once he’s up and the storm has passed, walk over to where his head and chest were pressed into the sand. You’ll see a glowing crack in the ground behind the gazebo. Perform a charged melee attack to reveal the bot drowning in a sea of pearls.
Once you’ve saved Big Brother, head to the huge coin on the island where his torso was, and he’ll create a huge island for you to climb onto. Jump on him and follow his arm to reach his shoulders. You’ll find a bot on Big Brother’s neck.
Once you reach the massive red island that Big Brother has created for you, head up until you reach a glass floor and an electric enemy. If you move the camera to look under the glass, you will see a shell platform housing a bot. Destroy the enemy and carefully drop through the glass to save the bot.
The final bot in “Free Big Brother!” is at the end of the level. Right by the shell at the end you’ll find a smaller clam with a bot covered in seaweed inside.
All the pieces of the puzzle in “Free Big Brother!”
In Free Big Brother! there are three puzzle pieces to find that appear before you start climbing Big Brother’s tower.
Inside the hollowed-out stone platform to the right of where you start the level—below bot 2—you’ll find the first puzzle piece floating in the air. Jump into it to grab it.
The second puzzle piece is on the right side of the map, where you’ll need to climb up and break one of the locks holding Big Brother. Climb up and break the glass to reach the lock. On the way, blast through the floor glass with your laser and you’ll see a miniature group of mushrooms surrounding a clump of wires below. Drop down there and pull the wires to reveal a puzzle piece.
The third and final piece of the puzzle is only available after Big Brother is freed. Once he is freed and the storm has passed, a gazebo will appear on the sand where Big Brother’s head was. Use the platforms to jump onto the gazebo roof and grab the puzzle piece.
Secret exit location in the mission “Free Big Brother!”
The “Free Big Brother!” secret exit is found very early on. As soon as you land, turn around and look for a huge stone door with platforms in front of it. Go over and make a lightning alien appear, then trick it into electrocuting two electrical platforms and opening the door to Ghouls and bots level.
