All Strange Inscription photo locations in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle

“Collect photographs of inscriptions” this is the goal you will reach Indiana Jones and the Great Circle as part “The Mummy of the Stolen Cat”. That’s four Weird subtitles that have been marked Map of Crescenzo.

How to take photos of Strange Inscriptions

Finding the signs scattered around the Vatican is one thing, but getting the image Indy wants is a completely different challenge.

When you get close to the caption (or any photo-worthy scene), a camera icon will appear in the upper left corner of the screen. Pressing the D-pad turns on the camera, then holding the left trigger brings it closer to your eye.

Then just frame the photo the way the game wants. Luckily you have a guide. Unfortunately, the game doesn’t explain this guide.

When looking through the viewfinder, you will see two sets of brackets: one slim and solid white, and the other blurry. Your goal is to get them both in line.

If the fuzzy brackets are inside the solid ones, it means that the object is too tiny and you need to either get closer or make it bigger. If they are outside, the object is too huge and you need to move back or zoom outwards.

When you align the brackets, you get a take a photo on-screen prompt.

Where to find Strange Inscriptions

Once you have your camera in hand, Indy’s map will change and show the approximate locations of all four strange signs you’re looking for. The numbers in the image above correspond to the descriptions below.

Once you buy the camera from Ernesto, exit the post office and turn right. Follow the path through the huge doors into the next courtyard.

Go through the second door on the right – there are gates you can go through. Inside you will see hedges being trimmed.

Head to the back of this area and look to the right to find the first one Strange inscription.

Leave the hedge and turn right (heading west). Go through the door and return to the Belvedere courtyard. There will be a fountain in front of you. Go around the right side of the fountain to find the next one Strange inscription.

In our experience, this photo is the most complex to frame correctly. You’ll probably have to zoom in a lot and then take a few steps back to line it up.

From the fountain, head to the south end of the Belvedere Courtyard. The Blackshirts are building a kind of stage there. Head to the right side of the stage and sneak around the back.

Use the whip to climb to the top of the scaffolding.

When you reach the balcony, turn right and follow it to find it Strange inscription 3.

Turn away from Strange Sign 3 and head to the other side of the balcony. There’s a Blackguard to deal with – if he’s sitting on the railing, you can always just click the right stick to push him down (this is extremely satisfying). Use the whip to climb the scaffolding.

At the top, turn right to find an open window. Jump into the corridor – you’ll find it there The mystery of the “House of God”. — and continue through the window on the other side.

This will lead you to Borgia’s courtyards. Turn right to find another scaffolding you can climb.

Get on it and the finale Strange inscription it will be a little to the left.
