The Hyperbolic Time Chamber is an vital location in the series where Goku, his son Gohan, and the other Z Fighters train to defeat upcoming threats such as Cell and Buu. A year in the chamber equals one day outside, so our heroes have plenty of time to train, spar with each other, and become stronger.

The Cell Games Arena is where Gohan and Cell fight their fateful battle Dragon Ball Z. It is here that the teenager performs the Father-Son Kamehameha to defeat Cell and save the world.

The events of the Frieza saga take place on the planet Namek, where Vegeta, Gohan and Krillin fight for survival in search of the Dragon Balls. Goku finally helps them and turns Super Saiyan against the powerful Frieza.

Finally, the Land of Kais is where Goku performs the Spirit Bomb to get rid of the fearsome Kid Buu, and the Land of Rocks is likely based on the initial battles between Goku and Vegeta in Saiyan history.
