FortniteThe Chapter 2 Remix event includes many nods to past stories. One particularly secret story deserves an appropriately secret quest set. This guide will facilitate you hunt down 10 hidden lawn gnomes to earn a good chunk of Battle Pass XP.
Gnome War
In the original Chapter 2, eagle-eyed players noticed that certain props were moving around the island between updates. This chapter tells the story of the confrontation between lawn gnomes and teddy bears. However, unlike most games, it wasn’t told through cinematics or audio logs. This is explained by gradual changes made to props between updates.
Ultimately, the Teddy Bears won the war and the Gnomes were banished from the island. However, they were noticed by players from time to time. We thought that by publishing a remix of Chapter 2, we might be able to relive the beginnings of this damned war. Instead, it looks like Gnomes and Teddy Bears are now getting along! They are located in locations across the island, ready to donate Battle Pass XP fragments to players who find them.
Gnome locations in Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix
Ten gnomes live on the entire island. When you get close to them, you’ll see an exclamation point icon to facilitate you track them down. They are hidden quite sneakily, so this map will facilitate you locate them all.
- In the Rocky Cliffs in the north of the island
- Under an umbrella on the sand of a secluded northern beach
- Underneath the pole of the power lines running from Steamy Stacks to Retail Row
- Hanging on the bank of a bend in the river southeast of Frenzy Farm
- Watching TV in the White House at Holly Hedges
- Playing hide and seek under a tree with a nearby teddy bear east of Holly Hedges
- Being in the Weeping Forest
- It stands next to a waterfall that can be accessed by being dropped from above or by using a piston gun
- Relax near Misty Meadows
- Freezing your head in the snow next to an abandoned camp
Each lawn gnome is worth 10,000 XP, and collecting all ten will earn you a 20,000 XP bonus. This should facilitate you quickly get through the Accelerated Battle Pass this season. Remember to act quickly, because at the end of the month everything passes!
