Want to find all the Black Myth: Wukong meditation locations? The world of Black Myth: Wukong is full of dangers, so it’s nice to occasionally stumble upon a pretty spot to meditate. Interacting with a meditation spot rewards you with a low cutscene showing off the scenery along with free Sparks, which are skill points that can be spent on skill and spell upgrades in the Self-Advancement menu. Aside from meditation, you only get Sparks by leveling up, so they’re a valuable resource.

Meditation spots in chapter 1

There are a total of three Meditation Spots in Black Myth Chapter 1: Wukong, Black Wind Mountain region. Open your journal and select “Meditation Spots” to see which ones are still missing, and utilize the location guide below to find them. Tip: unlock all Keeper’s Shrines in this region first, as this will make hunting down meditation spots much easier!

Arbor, the Wolf Forest

Starting at the Outside the Forest shrine in the Wolf Forest, head down through the cave. The meditation spot is a straight line ahead of you.

Cave, Bamboo Grove

Head to the “Back Hills” Shrine at the beginning of Bamboo Grove and head down. Keep to the left, effectively making a U-turn and enter the cave. Ahead of you, next to a talking horse NPC, you’ll find a Meditation Spot.

Cliff, Black Wind Cave

Head to the “Marsh of White Mist” temple in Bamboo Grove and follow the path with the wooden platforms. Don’t go left or right; just go straight down to the shallow lake. Be careful, as the seemingly peaceful lake is home to the boss Whiteclad Noble, so be prepared for a fight if this is your first visit! Once the Whiteclad Noble has been defeated, head through the temple-like cave and onto the wooden balcony straight ahead, where you’ll find a Meditation Spot.

Meditation spots in chapter 2

There are a total of six meditation spots in Chapter 2 of Black Myth: Wukong. The second part of the game offers a lot of meditation, as well as twice the amount of free sparks compared to Chapter 1. Here’s where you can find all the meditation spots in Yellow Wind Ridge.

Altar, Sandgate Village

Start at the Village Entrance shrine in Sandgate Village, which is at the very beginning of this chapter. Go onto the diminutive bridge next to the shrine, but go down to the right before you reach the other side. Go through the cave and immediately turn left (don’t go down) to find a diminutive shrine with a meditation area.

The Gorge, Rock Clash Platform

Start at the “Rock Clash Platform” Shrine, which is located next to the Stone Vanguard boss arena in the Fright Cliff region. Instead of heading into the arena, take the path along the venerable buildings to find a Meditation Spot straight ahead.

Deadwood, Rockrest Apartment

To find this meditation spot, you need to head to the “Rockrest Flat” Shrine in the Fright Cliff area, which is very close to the Stone Vanguard boss arena. Go around the rock formation behind the Shrine and follow the path leading to the drunk boar NPC. You will find the Meditation Spot behind the pig, next to a huge tree.

Sculpture, Temple of the Crouching Tiger

Go to the “Temple Entrance” in Crouching Tiger and enter the building. Just before reaching the top of the stairs, turn left to find a meditation spot.

Grotto, Yellow Wind Formation

You can start at the “Basement” chapel below the Temple of the Crouching Tiger and go down into the valley, or you can go to Sealing gate Shrine in Yellow Wind Formation and go through the huge gate behind the Shrine. Whichever you choose (the distance is about the same), follow the sandy road and turn onto the path with the huge shrine gate. Meditation Spot is just a low walk away.

Rock, Sandgate Bound

This meditation place is located near the Sanctuary of “Sandgate Bound” which is located in a hidden region called Kingdom of Sahala. If you haven’t unlocked this yet, you need to find the drunk boar at Rockrest Flat and complete his side quest. In low, give the boar the Sobering Stone at Rockrest Flat, get the Jade Lotus and give it to the pig at Crouching Tiger Temple, then defeat the First Prince of Flowing Sands. Return to Rockrest Flat and fight the boar, whose real name is Yellow-Robed Squire, then follow him to Kingdom of Sahali.

From Sandgate Bound Shrine, don’t go down into the valley, but walk to the nearby rock formation, which is on the same level. Just keep following the valley with the massive Buddha statue and pagoda on the right, and you’ll find the Meditation Spot a little further on, on the edge of the cliff overlooking the valley.
