Thank God you’re here!the game that feels like someone took a snapshot of a North Yorkshire town in the mid-70s and somehow crafted it into a fully-fledged quest-packed adventure has achieved Steam Deck verification just a day before its release.

Coal Supper, the development team behind the quirky but incredibly enjoyable romp through a petite British town, revealed on Twitter that the game, which was previously featured at Steam Next Fest, has been fully verified for Steam Deck ahead of its August 1st release.

In case you don’t know what I’m talking about, here’s the trailer:

Luckily you are here!you’re sent to the fictional town of Barnsworth to meet with the mayor, but things go horribly wrong from the very beginning of your journey. From jumping through a window, to shrinking to a size and floating in a tankard, to using a lot of butter to assist someone get their hand out of a drain cover, there’s a lot of chaos and a lot of fun.

Matt Berry lent his recognisable voice to a number of roles, and the pause menu features stunning footage from a bygone era of British history. Thank God you’re here! is full of puzzles to solve and offers great fun.

Thank God you’re here! shares its publisher with another delightfully weird game you may have heard of – The Goose Game Untitled – so if you’ve ever taken a stroll through town as a thieving goose, you probably know exactly what to expect Thank God you’re here!.

Thank God you’re here! will also be released on PlayStation and Nintendo Switch on August 1, so if anything, the game is more portable than not at this point. As The Goose Game Untitledif you plan to play Thank God you’re here! On a PC, this must be done using a controller.
