Tails of Iron 2: Whiskers of Winter is set to release at the end of winter, with United Label confirming it will be out in February 2025. An exact date has not been announced. A up-to-date trailer has been released to show off some of the gameplay and a up-to-date enemy the rats will have to face, their winged counterparts, the bats. The bats are ferocious and bloodthirsty, but so is the up-to-date protagonist, Arlo.
Tails of Iron 2: Whiskers of Winter takes place after the events of the war in the south in the original Tails of Iron. Moving north, players take on the role of Arlo, the son of the Guardian of the North. The North is under attack and Arlo must fend off the enemy. United Label said that this sequel will feature up-to-date gameplay elements, including a day and night cycle. This cycle dictates which enemies will be on the lookout and pose a threat to Arlo, with some only being lively at night. There are also 15 challenge beasts to fight, which have infrequent materials that can be used to upgrade equipment. Base building has also been improved, and Arlo can rebuild the settlement of Winter’s Edge to gain access to upgraded equipment. In battle, Arlo can equip weapons with one of four elements, with these being fire, ice, poison, and electricity. Tails of Iron 2: Whiskers of Winter will be a semi-open world RPG with six different environments to explore.

Tails of Iron 2: Whiskers of Winter will be available on PC, Switch, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.
