What’s your favorite kind of cookie? Rich Tea? Boubons? Custard Creams? Well, it seems that Baldur’s Gate 3 developer team Larian has a pliable spot for Oreo, so much so that the cinematic artist petting a pack of Oreo apparently used a reference to the tentacle-stroking animation from, um, that scene with you and the Emperor.
You know the one. The one where at first you’re just relaxing and then they do something to your brain that lets you know they’re in the mood. Then you get closer and their breath smells like garlic because they apparently have the same taste in food as Peter Kay. Then you move on to the person with tentacles or the person without tentacles. Yep, that’s the one.

“Since we’re sharing a behind-the-scenes look at the making of Baldur’s Gate 3,” Larian announced on Twitter, which you certainly won’t forget for a while, “here’s our senior cinematic artist, Elodie Ceselli, stroking a bag of cream puffs as a reference for the tentacle stroking animation during the sex scene with the Emperor.”
Below is an accompanying video you can watch of the…act…being…made. The studio also added a “Yes, really” in case you had doubts about whether this shocking confession was true, like I did when I first saw it and still do, really.

Larian Publishing Director Michael Douse apologized for either giving us the information or for revealing what the studio’s creators do with their snacks. It’s unclear in which case another tweet.
