ALG (Apex Legends Global Series) has announced everything fans attending the upcoming 2024 ALGS Split 2 Playoffs can do at the event. Unlike previous LAN events, this event offers fans something recent to check out each of the four days.
The 2024 ALGS Split 2 Playoffs will take place in Mannheim, Germany from August 29 to September 1, 2024. Attendees can experience something recent beyond the main event and watch 40 teams compete for a share of the $1 million prize pool each day. This includes the first-ever Tailgate Party where fans can meet professional players, a Creator Showcase, POI Live Draft, and even a Treasure Hunt that will take fans around the venue in search of the iconic ALGS mascot.

At previous ALGS events, fans had the opportunity to interact with sponsor and team booths. They return for the Split 2 Playoffs, allowing anyone on-site to play a few games and enter contests to win prizes like gaming chairs and computer components. Team booths allow pro players to meet and greet fans and even sign merchandise if you have it.
The best idea I’ve seen so far is to get a controller signed by as many players as possible. Of course, there will also be exclusive merch at the event that you might want to get if you’re really passionate about a particular team.
The item that always seems to sell out the fastest is the Nessie plush. The 2023 Finals featured a recent golden Nessie, and the 2024 Split 2 Playoffs feature an entire hunt for Nessie treasure, requiring fans to explore the area and find specific items or complete specific tasks in order to claim their prize.
All this combined with the opportunity to meet professional players at the Tailgate Party, where they will jump into Apex Legends matches with anyone who wants to take them on. Before the final day of competition, the creators will host a tournament on the main stage in Straight Shot, a game mode returning in Season 22. Apex Legends.
