Genshin Impact 5.0 Coming August 28 With New Continent, Characters, and Adorable Traversal Mechanics

Published:

Genshin Impact version 5.0 – the next major update will introduce a recent region to the game – premieres worldwide on August 29thIn addition, recent characters, as well as an Archon quest, events, and nippy recent traveling skills will also be coming to players who jump into the recent content.

Genshin Impact players will be able to meet and interact with the various tribes that inhabit the recent nation of Natlan and continue the overall narrative of the largest HoYoverse game. Version 5.0, like all major version changes before it, will be the launching point for months of additional updates that expand on the region and the stories of the recent characters introduced with it.

This recent update also introduces three recent characters, all available via in-game banners. These are the five-star Mualani, the four-star Kachina, and the five-star Kinich. These characters will be spread out over two phases, so hopefully you’ve been saving up your rolls for these three – they’ll be thrown back into the character vault sometime after their banners expire.

As for these traversal abilities, they come in the form of different Saurin forms that you’ll unlock as you progress through the main story. These Saurin forms are Tepetlisauras, who can dig underground and climb cliffs, Yumkasauras, who can reach high areas and cause explosions, and Koholasauras, who can move quickly through water and the risky phlogiston fluid. They’re all very vital and look adorable too.

Alongside this are a number of time-limited events, a returning player reward to tempt you back, recent weapons, and a more challenging world level. There will also be a change to the artifact system that should allow you to better craft earned artifacts with the stats you desire.

To jump into all this nippy recent content, you’ll need an Adventure Rank of at least 28. If you’ve already surpassed that, don’t worry! Just mark it on your calendar and get ready to jump in later this month.
