As part of the quest accompanying the Changli Moon Chasing Festival, Stormy waves players are tasked with solving a puzzle to gain access to a mysterious reward left by a legendary master of this craft.
But considering that even finding the real clue will require a process of elimination, solving the puzzle can be a bit tricky. To support you do that and impress everyone’s favorite advisor, here’s how to solve the Riddle Master’s puzzle and complete the Puzzle of Puzzles side quest in Stormy waves.
Wuthering Waves Puzzle of Puzzles guide
By following Puzzle Master D’s clue, which reveals that the first and fourth mechanisms that need to be activated cannot be the Glacio Prism (called the blue mechanism) or the Electro Prism (called the green one, for some unknown reason), you can solve part of the Puzzle of Puzzles puzzle in Stormy waves by hitting Spectro, Glacio, Electro and Fusion Prims in that order.
Once you’ve completed the puzzle, simply interact with the mechanism at its center to obtain the book Riddle Master D’s Latest Horror Riddles – Ultimate Collection, then return to Hsin’s Fortuity’s booth to complete the quest.
All Puzzle of Puzzles Awards
Completing Puzzle of Puzzles will reward you with three Wish Tags, 40 Preparation Credits, 2000 Shell Credits, 2000 Operation Funds, and two Medium Resonance Potions. You’ll also unlock Changli as a companion for the rest of the Moon-Chasing Festival, allowing you to add her to your party when taking part in Lodge Wishes stages, as well as boost her stats by giving her gifts or going on trips.
While this is not related to Changli’s quest, remember that you can freely visit Hsin’s Fortuity until the end of the event. Once you arrive at the booth, you will be able to spin the wheel of fortune for a chance to earn both materials and Shell Credits. You can only spin the wheel once per day.
