Where to find all the Flintbeetles in Hollow Knight Silksong
Finding and defeating the three Flintbeetles is part of the Volatile Flintbeetles Wish from Bone Bottom, and you’ll find them all in the Marrow, east of the starting area. More likely than not, you’ve already explored the place thoroughly by this point, so getting to the Flintbeetles’ location is a basic matter of platforming.
You can track Flintbeetles through the trail that appears in the collections of their burning droppings, each relatively close to their actual location. These traces do not disappear if you die on the way to the Flintbeetles or while fighting the Flintbeetles, giving you as much time as you need to complete your Wish. Once defeated, the Flintbeeltes disappear because their existence is tied to the Wish, and do not reappear once this happens.
First Flintbeetle location
The first Flintbeetle is very close to the bone door that once blocked your and Sherma’s path. Go past where the door was, then take the first path you see up, then go left. At the intersection leading towards Mosshome, jump onto the ledge on the right.
You will see Flintbeetle resting on the rocky ceiling. Hit him to make him fall, then defeat him and get the Flintgem he’s holding. You will do the same with the remaining two Flintbeetles.
Second Flintbeetle location
The second Flintbeetle you should look for is in the easternmost part of the Marrow, in a huge cave that eventually leads further east to the lower reaches of the Bellhart and the Hunter’s March.
Head east along the base of The Marrow but before reaching the Deep Docks. In the last room, head towards the passage to leave Bellhart and rest on a nearby bench. Continue up and take the first left path you see. You’ll find the beetle in the room with the pogo-capable plants that litter the Hunter’s March.
Third Flintbeetle location
To reach the third and final Flintbeetle, continue west from the second one, heading from the entrance to the Hunter’s March. When you reach a huge room with a lever that opens a shortcut to the south, make your way across the platforms towards the upper parts of the room.
You’ll need to make a challenging jump around the end of a ledge to reach the room above the larger chamber, and then you’ll need to complete a tiny platforming challenge across several collapsing floors to reach the highest point of the room.
You’re on the right track when you encounter a series of flying enemies charging at you. The Flintbeetle itself is on a longer platform near the ceiling, at the end of the platform section. Once you have defeated the Flintbeetles and collected them with Flintge, return to Bone Bottom to fulfill your wish and collect your reward.
