Grinch Plush Wireless Headphones Review – “They Certainly Are Comfortable”

Published:

  • A very stupid project
  • Soft and comfortable
  • Not the best sound quality

I feel like I’ve been seeing more and more of these plush headsets over the last few years, especially with kids and adults decorating them with glowing and vivid things. The Grinch seems to be very popular this year, so it makes sense that the Grinch Plush Wireless Headphones are also available for purchase.

The headset itself is featherlight green, completely covered in down, and has two Grinch heads facing either side. It’s pliable, I assure you. I like the eyebrow detail on the Grinch, where his eyebrows have slightly different, longer fur so they stick out. It’s stupid, but that’s the point.

As you might imagine for a headset that isn’t intended for gamers, there’s no way to adjust the top headband – it’s a one-size-fits-all solution. There are no earpieces, so they don’t block out ambient noise, and often others can hear your music too, just by being next to you. That said, the ear cups are hot and comfortable, almost like the Grinch Plush Wireless Headphones are simply a pair of audio-enabled ear cups.

There are three buttons on the strap of the Grinch Plush wireless headphones – Plus, Pause/Play and Minus. Pairing is very straightforward and painless. Holding down the Pause/Play button allows you to exploit voice commands on your paired phone, which is nice. If you turn the volume all the way up, the headphones make a really noisy BEEP sound, which made me jump at first. On the other side is the USB-C charging port and comes with an extremely compact USB to USB-C charging cable.

The Grinch Plush Wireless Headphones are a silly thing; they’re not intended for sedate gamers or anything like that. But they are fun and make a good gift.
