Bloober Team announced that Cronos: The New Dawn will receive a recent Temporal Diver Mode, which will allow players to experience the game on an easier difficulty level. Not much detail has been given on what exactly this will impact gameplay, with Bloober Team confirming that more details will be made available in early 2026. A trailer for the Temporal Diver mode has been released.
Cronos: The New Dawn’s action takes place in a post-apocalyptic version of Poland in the 1980s. It is a place where a survival horror adventure with a vast portion of science fiction and time travel takes place. You will play as a time-hopping traveler, going back through time rifts to try to recover the people who did not survive the apocalypse. The most significant inspirations include the Dead Space series and the film Twelve Monkeys. The Traveler suit takes inspiration from older deep diving suits, echoing the theme of diving back in time to save people.
