Mintrocket has published a recent developer diary to celebrate the end of 2025, in which game director Jaeho Hwang gives details on what’s happening at the studio and what to expect in the future. We’re keeping an eye on the recent Mintrocket office, but the main area of focus is Dave The Diver’s Into The Jungle DLC, which is scheduled for release in early 2026.
Dave The Diver Into The Jungle is expected to feature approximately 10 hours of recent content for players to experience in the jungle village of Utara. Here, Dave can spend the day helping the villagers with their requests or collecting fruits and minerals. If Dave doesn’t like that, Bancho’s recent restaurant is worth a visit. This is where Dave can facilitate serve multiple clients, and these clients are people Dave has built relationships with. The restaurant is not called Bancho Sushi because freshwater lake fish cannot be served that way, so the restaurant is called Bancho Grill instead.
When Dave The Diver dives into a jungle lake, he will have to watch out for hazards such as crocodiles, catfish, electric eels and piranhas. However, Dave is not an basic snack for these predators, as he is armed with the recent Jungle Gun, which comes in many forms, including a shotgun, netgun, sniper rifle, and regular weapons, depending on the danger. On land, Dave can roam the jungle with his friends and play a variety of jungle-themed mini-games, including what looks like a guitar hero-style rhythm game. Additionally, it has been confirmed that guest characters from other games will appear in the Into The Jungle DLC, but Mintrocket did not say who.
Additionally, Mintrocket announced that it has partnered with XD to bring Dave The Diver to mobile devices. The mobile version will not be a straightforward version of Dave The Diver, with the user interface and controls redesigned for mobile exploit. Dave The Diver Mobile will be released first in China and will be available worldwide shortly thereafter.
