- Diablo Immortal is set to introduce a culminating event this year
- The First and Last King sees you on the trail of Albrecht, the first of Diablo’s human host
- With this fresh update, you will know the difference between Diablo 2 and 3
Considering how many major releases receive major updates, holiday events, and other must-have games this season, you may have forgotten about Diablo Immortal. But NetEase’s adaptation of the hit dungeon crawler cannot be missed, as Diablo Immortal’s biggest update of the year is upon us!
Named The first and last kingWith this update, Immortal will no longer be a sequel to Diablo II and will become a prequel to Diablo III. When Albrecht, Diablo’s first human host, wants to take over the world of Sanctuary for himself, it’s up to you to stop him.
You will discover a fresh trail leading to the path of Albrecht’s army, but be sure to stay near Sharval as they will need your support to get to both the Ensteig Bailey and Barrow Tombs of Aughild, where you will face many fresh bosses on top of that.
An early Christmas gift
Diablo Immortal may have caused some controversy when it was first announced (understatement of the century, I know), but when it comes to keeping up with tradition, it takes a lot of effort. Admittedly, bridging the gap between Diablo II and III is a hard proposition, but for many of you this will be a great time to jump in and experience this untold period.
In terms of other goodies, you can also get your hands on a brand fresh portal based on World of Warcraft’s massive fresh housing update. And keep your eyes peeled for another fresh crossover event happening later this month!
Diablo Immortal could be a great adaptation of Blizzard’s hit property for mobile devices. But there are others who can take on even the hardest hitter. As aptly shown in our list of the best mobile games like World of Warcraft, featuring the best MMORPGs and multiplayer fun on smartphones!
