Tribute Games has announced a fresh update for Marvel Cosmic Invasion, which includes a fix for more gameplay bugs. Some of the bug fixes include the Special Attack Assemble achievement not unlocking in online mode, various freezes and crash issues on PC and consoles, and subtitles added to Spider-Man’s battle-specific dialogue. Marvel Cosmic Invasion December 18 Patch Notes
- Fixed an issue that prevented the “Special Attack Assembly” achievement from being activated in online modes
- We gave Wolverine and She-Hulk a boost by fixing their grab attack and stopping them from freezing mid-action.
- Fixed Annihilus disappearing from view if his armor was damaged by She-Hulk’s Spin Throw
- We also stopped Annihilus from becoming elusive if his armor is destroyed by Wolverine’s grab and slash attack
- Fixed missing subtitles in Spider-Man’s first dialogue after the Battle of Annihilus
- Fixed a lock that meant the last player couldn’t select an already selected superhero in Arcade Mode (even if the Doppleganger modifier was enabled)
- Fixed an issue that caused move lists to display incorrectly in multiplayer if Player One was using a keyboard
- We also talked to Hela to make sure she won’t get bored and idle if host players leave the multiplayer game during combat
- We also fixed achievement freezes on Windows and Xbox, as well as various crash issues on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2
- Fixed an issue that prevented Superhero color profiles from changing after pressing Continue in Arcade Mode
- Fixed the life bar displaying incorrect costumes when switching characters
- We made sure that feedback is displayed correctly when superheroes run out of ammo
- We also fixed an issue where in multiplayer, the amount of damage dealt over time by Phyla-Vell’s cosmic damage was not displayed correctly
- Fixed inconsistencies in character selection that could cause superhero icons to appear incorrectly greyed out
