We have officially entered Black Friday week. Just about every retailer under the sun has already released a ton of deals, so there’s no reason to wait to get your holiday shopping done. If you or someone on your list is interested in Sonic the Hedgehog video games, you’re in luck: many of them are on sale on Switch, Switch 2, PS5, and Xbox. Here’s a round-up of all the Sonic games that are already on sale for Black Friday 2025.

The newest game on the list is Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds (Amazon), a go-kart racer with enough speed and fresh ideas that many say is better than Mario Kart World. In her review, Jada Griffin wrote: “Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is firing on all cylinders with a fantastic lineup of 24 of my favorite hedgehogs, foxes, echidnas and more. The set of 24 main tracks and 15 Crossworld tracks is the best-designed selection we’ve ever received in any Sonic racing game, and it’s accompanied by a generations-old soundtrack. The races themselves are fast, fantastic and intuitive, with plenty of options to modify your stats to suit your preferred playstyle.”

Sonic Superstars (Switch, PS5, XSX)

If price is your top priority, you can’t beat Sonic Superstars, a rewinding platformer you can buy less than $10 On Amazon. This is a killer deal in a game that the same Jada Griffin wrote about in her review: “Most Sonic games put the pedal to the metal so you travel at breakneck speeds, avoiding hazards on the way to your goal. But unlike its predecessors, Sonic Superstars trades the traditional breakneck pace for new abilities, more exploration, lots of mini-games, and slightly more difficult bosses. Most of this stylistic shift works with most Superstars games’ roughly 15-hour story spanning multiple campaigns.”

Plus, you can purchase the excellent 2024 Sonic X Shadow Generations at a fresh all-time low price of $24.99 at Amazon. This applies to all consoles, including Switch 2. This game consists of two parts. One is a remake of the 2011 game Sonic Generations, and the other is a brand fresh expansion focusing on Shadow. This makes for a killer package that we rated 9/10 in our review.
