Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 update 1.0.4 has been released by The Chinese Room to improve the game experience, and the latest patch addresses the issue of saving when exiting to the main menu or ending the game. Additionally, The Chinese Room announced that update 1.0.5 will add an FOV slider, motion blur toggle, and improved progress saving. The studio has also developed a roadmap to give you an idea of what content you can expect between now and into 2026.
As you can see in the image above, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 will receive three updates in the run-up to Christmas, including the latest update 1.0.4. The Winter Update will add custom difficulty and Christmas-themed items. The custom difficulty option will only be available after completing the game, allowing players to revisit the campaign and set fresh parameters such as starting health, masquerade sensitivity, enemy awareness, and playing only the Phyre or Fabien quests. The next update is then expected in the first quarter of 2026 and will be the Valentine’s Day update. We will then release two DLCs: Loose Cannon will be released in Q2 2026 and The Flower & The Flame will be released in Q3 2026.
