In the world of Where Winds Meet, no enemy is as risky, crazy and deadly as a wild goose. However, in the Honk If You Want Treasure quest, a passing champion teaches you the skills you need to survive against these vicious, feathered creatures.
Honk if you want to find treasure
As you walk along the road between the General’s Sanctuary and the Heavenly Pier in Where Winds Meet, you will be instructed to take action against a bandit goose that is terrorizing the inhabitants.
From its island in the middle of the stream, the goose attacks anyone who dares to get too close. Unfortunately, since the main road into town ran past the goose den, this became quite a problem.
If you approach the goose and try to fight it, you will most likely die and end up in the nearest Heroes’ Shrine.
How to defeat the goose in Honk If You Want Treasure
Nearby, approach the research group sitting on the edge of the grass. Talk to Master Heartless, who turns to her students, and she reveals that you must operate the Mystic Art of Meridian Touch to counter Geese’s barrage of quick attacks and techniques.
You learn Meridian Touch from Yan Qiren near Stonewash Strand in Qinghe, in the Verdant Wilds area between the General’s Sanctuary and the Heavenly Pier.
With Mystic Art equipped, target the goose in combat and select “Immobilize”. However, instead of attacking her for this mission while the goose is frozen, steal her egg from the nest to placid her down and complete the mission.
As a reward for your efforts, you will receive a Solid Goose Egg.
