Who are the familiars of Anime Vanguards?
Familiars are powerful creatures that you can add to your Anime Vanguards units. Each Familiar is divided into three different tiers: Exclusive, Secret, and Mythic. The Vanguard Tier is an entirely separate ranking for familiars and can only apply to specific units. Familiars are great in battle because they utilize special buffs and stats to support you win, as well as passive skills.

How to get more Anime Vanguards pets?
There are three key methods to unlocking more familiars in Anime Vanguards, but there is a petite caveat. Some familiars are tied to limited-time events, which means it’s almost impossible to add them to your lineup. Unless they are added back into the game for a specific reason, you will likely never see them in the game. But don’t worry about it now.
Here’s what you can do to make more Anime Vanguards friends.
Shop Anime Vanguards pets in stores
In Anime Vanguards, you can visit a variety of shops, including event shops, rift shops, dungeon shops, and raid shops. The two main dungeon shops are located on Ant Island or the Frozen Volcano. You’ll need Monarch Coins for Ant Island and Dragon Tokens for the shop in the Frozen Volcano dungeon. The Ruined City raid shop only accepts auric coins, while the rift shop requires rift shards.
Some of these stores may disappear, but the good news is that two event stores are permanently present in the game. The King’s Return and The Strongest event stores also offer scarce Vanguard pets. For these shops, remember to take your event coins with you.
Complete raids
By raiding in Anime Vanguards, you have the chance to add a familiar to your squad. Completing the first two acts of the Ruined City Raid rewards players with Birb, but there is only a 1% chance of this happening. At this time, no other raids are giving players pets as gifts.
Complete story stages
If you complete normal story stages in Anime Vanguards, you can earn a familiar in return for your efforts. After completing the first six acts of the Hill of Sword Story stages, you can get the Nose as a reward. However, the chance of getting it is only 10%. This also applies to completing stages of the Legends story.
How to transfer familiars from Anime Vanguards?
To reroll familiars in Anime Vanguards, you must find the “reroll” option in the familiars menu. From here you can try your luck if you’re feeling brave. You can utilize elemental shards to re-roll the elemental passive ability of your familiars, and phoenix shards to cast their stars.
You can re-roll them as many times as you like, provided you have enough of both resources and your familiar is not affected by the corruption crystal.
