Terminator 2D: No fate — a modern retro game that combines scenes from Terminator 2: Judgment Day with original scripts and multiple endings — has been postponed for a third time, this time to December 12, 2025.

In Terminator 2D: No Fate, you will play as Sarah Connor and the T-800, trying to put an end to Skynet’s plans before the human race is annihilated. The game will be available on PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X and S, and last-gen consoles. The premiere was originally scheduled for September 5, but was postponed to the end of October, then November 26. And now it’s delayed again.

One last timepublisher Reef Entertainment said the release date was pushed back from its original October 31 date due to “continued changes in global trade and tariffs that have delayed the shipment of components for our Day One and Collector’s Editions.” And while the “physical components” necessary for all editions have “finally arrived,” the company needs “some time.” And while this only applies to physical releases of the game, Reef confirmed that this delay also applies to digital releases.

“First of all, we want to start by thanking you. We know you’ve been waiting longer than expected for the release of Terminator 2D: No Fate and we truly appreciate your patience and support throughout this journey” – Team he said. “The physical components of all releases have finally arrived after continuous delays that pushed us off our previous schedules. However, we now need to assemble the physical releases, which will take some time to complete.

“For this reason, we are moving the release date of Terminator 2D: No Fate to December 12, 2025 for all physical and digital versions of the game.

“We sincerely apologize for the repeated delays. We don’t take your patience for granted and we never want to let our community down. Our goal has always been to deliver the game you deserve, and we’re almost there. Thank you again for sticking by us.”
