Cable guys they are known for their little handles that have different characters and are associated with different themes. In the Cable Guys Pro Buds lineup, the figures themselves are smaller and the perfect size to hold a case full of a pair of headphones. Cable Guys Buds Pro The Nightmare Before Christmas Jack Skellington is a quick, petite, but fun combination of a petite holder and headphones.
Unlike the Jack Skellington Cable Guys phone holder, this smaller version is much nicer. His head is rounder, his fingers are less skinny, and the whole thing just looks adorable! The base is glossy and its miniature arms hold a headphone case that matches Jack Skellington’s suit.
I am very impressed with the housing itself, with many details refined. The front and back look like a suit, but the top has a spider and bat pattern and the bottom also has a spiderweb pattern.
The charging cable plugs into the bottom of the Jack Skellington Buds Pro, which I usually have a lot of trouble with because I have to place it in order to charge; however, with the stand it works fine for me. The cable that comes with it is USB-USB-C. There are also several different sizes of earbuds to choose from.
The earbuds themselves are only okay. The overall focus isn’t on the best sound quality or customization options – instead, it’s more about decoration and a casual pair of earbuds you can wear while showing off your love for the movie. The sides of the headphones have a petite skull, bat and pumpkin design which is a very nice touch. At the end of the day, they do their job.
With the earbuds themselves fully charged, they can charge for four to five hours, and with the case fully charged, an additional 20 hours, which isn’t the worst, but isn’t the best either. There is a green airy on the front that shows when it is charged.
Everything is as we expected, really! I like this theme and can see how this could be a fun novelty for those looking for a up-to-date pair of earbuds that have a bit of character to them.
