  • Aurora is renaming Seekers of Tokane to Amiko Legends, renaming the base Nefties creatures to Amikos.
  • The dual token economy with OKA, TOKE and the AURY token for rewards remains fully functional.

Aurora has started a complete rebrand of its digital game, transition from the previous title Seekers of Tokane to Amico Legends. This transformation includes renaming the central creatures collected by players, which were previously called Nefties and now operate under the name Amikos.

Development officials say that following these naming modifications, all core gameplay systems will continue unchanged.

Gameplay systems and environment design

Amico Legends functions as a free-to-play roguelite RPG set in the fictional world of Tokane. The game uses procedurally generated mapping systems for player navigation, creating distinct combat encounters and exploration opportunities at each point of gameplay.

Turn-based combat mechanics underpin player engagement, spanning both single-player environments and competitive player-versus-player modes. Participants collect, develop and employ their Amikos collections in these strategic confrontations.

Digital Asset Economy and Blockchain Framework

The project maintains an established dual-token economic structure in which players purchase OKA and TOKE tokens are determined based on the team’s configuration during the activity. Crystals act as an independent in-game currency for obtaining character upgrades and cosmetic modifications.

Aurora has constructed a game architecture using blockchain technology to enable verification of ownership of digital content. The AURA marker supports prize allocation processes and additional transaction operations within this system.

Gaming community center and development prospects

The village of Blanche remains a major social gathering place Amico Legends users. This virtual environment allows for avatar customization, community activities, and player interactions. Historical player response has shown appreciation for the game’s visual aesthetic and strategic complexity of combat, although some users have expressed a desire for greater variety in exploration and improved inclusion of blockchain functionality.

Scheduled On November 7, the AMA Roundtable will establish a forum to explore initial community reactions to the rebranding initiative. Aurora developers expect to reveal additional information about upcoming development stages during this event. The team suggests that potential extensions and improvements beyond terminology changes may appear in future updates.
