The Golden Joystick Awards 2025 will kick off later this month, and the shortlist for the Ultimate Game of the Year awards has also been announced. There are only a few days left until voting officially ends, so here’s everything you need to know, including the nominees and where you can cast your vote.

The 43rd annual Golden Joystick Awards begin on November 20, with voting for the best game of the year ending on November 7 at 4:00 p.m. PST / 7:00 p.m. EST / 0:00 GMT.

The nominees for the Ultimate Game of the Year award include the biggest hits of 2025, including: Chiaroscuro: Expedition 33, Blue Prince, Hades 2, and more. You can check out the full list below.

Nominated for the best game of the year

To vote, you must go to the website GamesRadarwhere you will be asked to choose your three best games of the year and arrange them in your preferred order.

This year the show will be hosted by Residential village bad AND Baldur’s Gate 3 actress Maggie Robertson along with several guest presenters from the games industry, including Alix Wilton Regan (Dragon Age: Inquisition AND Cyberpunk 2077), Doug Cockle (The Witcher franchise) and Ciara Berkeley (The Witcher 4), Ben Starr (Chiaroscuro: Expedition 33), Shai Matheson (LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight) and more.

Now, fans from around the world will decide who is most deserving of this honor, and who better than the incredibly talented Maggie Robertson to lead us through the ceremony.
