Those of you who follow Sensor Tower’s monthly mobile revenue report know that this happens often Genshin Strike AND Love and space sparring for first place.
Last month, it looked like Love and Deepspace would hold the top spot until the release of Nod-Krai – but the numbers don’t lie, and it turns out that Hoyo’s epic gacha is back at the top of the charts with a whopping $54.7 million, all thanks to Genshin Impact’s Flins banner. Trust in the power of your husbands! Whether this trend will continue after the release of Nefer and three amazing re-releases, we’ll have to wait and see.
You can see the full rankings for October’s mobile money makers on Reddit – but LADS and its peers with a meager $50 million fell to second place. Moving on, next to Pokémon TCG Pocket and Arknights, we find Honkai Star Rail in 8th place with $22.4 million. Players received a free copy of Permansor Terrae in this update, but it looks like it and the March 7 version of Evernight weren’t enough to generate a huge profit.
Other key games we like to track are still in the top 15, although they don’t make as much money as they did in the past. Wuthering Waves made $15.6 million with its newest Echo-based DPS character, Galbren, but Lupa’s reprise doesn’t seem to have opened anyone’s wallets.
In last place in our huge five favorite Hoyoverse games is Zenless Zone Zero. It rose slightly to $12.9 million after the famously bad patch with Seed and Orphie, neither of which are very popular – last month’s earnings were around $10 million. These are still gigantic numbers compared to anything we’re used to, but for a gigantic company it’s not great.
Tune in next month to see where all the best gacha games rank and which characters spend the most on them. You can also check out our Genshin Impact tier list, Honkai Star Rail tier list, and Wuthering Waves tier list to see where we rank each unit.
