Tracking compression coils IN Outer Worlds 2The Hazard a Gas quest is like finding a needle in a haystack, except you find 15 miniature scrolls in a huge wasteland with a little facilitate. You can share a few pieces to get a little facilitate, but that only adds up to about a fifth of the total coils. The others are scattered throughout Golden Pass, although you don’t need to complete this quest to proceed. The Soldier Aunt who asks for your facilitate has other tasks you can complete to get his facilitate if you want.

Hazard a Gas compression coil locations in The Outer Worlds 2
There they are 15 compression coils in Auntie’s Choice drop pods scattered throughout the central and western portions of Golden Ridge. Most of the capsules are located high on rock formations or on aged tram platforms, although two of them are hidden in the Verachnid Caves. This is Outer Worlds-speak for spiders, so before you go make sure you have arachnophobia mode on if spiders are a problem for you.
We also recommend bringing space boots for the double jump if you haven’t already, as it’s impossible to reach some of the compression coils without them.
Close to Our Lady’s Mercy
This capsule is located southwest of Matriarch’s Mercy, attached to a cliff face. There they are two coils inside.
Behind Alexandra station
At the top of the cliff behind the tram stop is another pod where you first arrive on the planet (and find your first piece of mural). Exit the station and go around it to the northeast, then follow the path up the rocks. It will lead you to a compact spider cave, so make sure you’re ready for a fight. The capsule has three coils inside.
On the aged tram platform
This pod is located on a ruined tram platform east of the Extraction Center, but the only way to get to it is to jump the tracks. Start with the rails near the ground near the station and jump on them twice until you reach the end of the track. Turn left, follow the path and it will spit you out onto a platform where the pod is guarded by a hazardous Mantisaurus. You can ignore it and just rush to catch it two coils inside before leaving.
Head west from the Extraction Center to find this one, partially sunken into the ground. This is exactly what happened one coil inside.
Junkrat’s Cave
This one is located right next to the Scrapper’s Den swift travel point and contains: single coil.
In the Verachnid cave
Leave Fort Endurance via the elevator at the western end and enter Verachnid Cave. A bit further there is a capsule with two coils inside and one near the corpse next to the pod.
Next to Fort Endurance
Leave Fort Endurance and head down the cliff. Return north, activate the shield gadget to protect yourself from the zyranium, and rush to grab it two coils There.
Near the scientific facility
This capsule is located between the research facility and the trenches, on a compact ledge. You’ll find it inside end coil.
