Level Infinite kicked off the third anniversary of Goddess of Victory: Nikke with Goddess Fall, a massive update that brings the series to the most defining moment in its history. The story reaches a crisis point when the Pilgrim Nikkes unite in a final confrontation with the Rapture Queen, setting the stage for a world-shaking battle that will decide the fate of humanity.
The highlight of the update is the Surface Beta, a large-scale battle mode in which you will command multiple Nikke troops to reclaim territory and gather resources on a enormous battlefield. It’s the largest tactical mode the shooter has seen to date, encouraging strategic formations and coordination, not just pure firepower.
It’s also the setting for a up-to-date storyline – follow Nayuta as she gathers the Pioneer Squad and joins forces with Eden to make one last stand against the approaching forces of Rapture. Humanity’s best approach to a threat that has been brewing for a long time. It’s now or never.
On this occasion, three up-to-date characters arrive – SSR Nayuta, a determined leader riding the mechanical camel Mantra, SSR Liberalio, a threatening Heretic driven by loyalty to the Queen of Ascension, and SSR Chime, a free-spirited figure and a pointed strategist whose cheerful energy conceals a tactical mind. You’ll also find a Pilgrim re-collection banner featuring Modernia, Dorothy, and Little Red Riding Hood, as well as up-to-date costumes and limited-time boss fights.
In addition to the main update, offline anniversary events will take place in November in the U.S., including pop-up collaborations at Animate Los Angeles and Anime Impulse Dallas featuring exclusive merchandise and themed exhibitions.
