Thanks to the long-awaited launch Pokémon Legends: A.Smany spin-off games have Kalos fever. TCG Pocket debuted in Mega Evolution, Mega Charizard X is in Pokémon Unite, and now one unique Legend is coming to Pokémon Cafe Remix.
To celebrate the fourth anniversary of the mobile puzzle game and the launch of the novel Switch game, Pokémon Cafe ReMix welcomes Zygarde to the cafe. Although we don’t know all the details yet, the game is now official X account shared a graphic showing Zygarde’s cells and cores mixed in a puzzle with other green Pokémon such as Smoliv and Pokémon ZA’s starter, Chikorita.
Although the Legendary first appeared in its 50% form in Pokémon X and Y, it wasn’t until the later 3DS games Sun and Moon that we learned about its cores and cells. Basically, Zygarde is made up of smaller organisms called cells and cores, which can fuse together to create larger forms of dragon-type Pokémon. If you collect 95 cells and five cores while holding a Zygarde cube, you can summon a 100% form.
Previous Pokémon Cafe ReMix events have featured Pokémon with collection mechanics – most notably Gimmighoul and Gholdengo. I imagine this anniversary event will follow a similar pattern, with us tasked with completing puzzles in time to collect Zygarde’s cells and ultimately invite the Pokémon itself to visit the café. I’m not sure which form will appear since the 50% form used to be the most popular, but Pokémon Legends: ZA shows us its 10% form most often.
Anyway, Pokémon Cafe ReMix Wiki lists Zygarde as an unreleased Pokémon scheduled to land on October 27, 2025, along with a group of novel Halloween-themed clients and cosmetics. Maybe one day Mega Evolution will make it into the game like it did in Pokémon Shuffle?
