This is an amazing first impression.
As someone who consumes and creates video game content on a daily basis, I’m rarely blown away by trailers. But this latest one from Korea did the trick, even if I’m skeptical.
An announcement and trailer for the game called was posted on the PlayStation YouTube channel this afternoon TAL projectwhich is in energetic development and will take several years to see the lithe of day. But wow, seeing this in action is stunning.

The game’s description says it will deliver “deep immersion, strategic combat, and a rich narrative shaped by your journey” in a single-player, open-world action RPG. The presented gameplay facts are similar to other titles in this genre, but they immediately come to mind: Dragon Dogmathrough the operate of what appear to be AI companions as the player battles huge, terrifying beasts.
“Throughout your adventure, you’ll fight alongside distinctive allied characters in the game – each with unique abilities, personalities, and fighting styles – who evolve with you and influence the story,” the description reads. “Together you will take on colossal creatures, discover hidden lands, and experience a seamless blend of battle, exploration, and storytelling in a vibrant, living world.”
The visual fidelity is something to behold, but the disclaimer warns that the trailer contains “a mix of gameplay and cinematics rendered in Unreal Engine 5.” UE5 is enough of a cause for concern given its reputation in 2025, but there’s also a studio working on the game that I haven’t heard of until now.
The creator’s name is MADNGINE, and his only game appears to be an NFT-based MMORPG Night Crowswhich is available on PC and mobile devices. So yes, not a lot of achievements here, but this debut is something to behold, so my curiosity is absolutely piqued.
Project TAL is currently scheduled for release around 2027, and until then I will definitely be following its development closely. Check out trailer below to see what I’m talking about, because it certainly looks impressive at first glance.

Either way, I hope to see more of this game sooner rather than later, but all indications are that the wait for this game will be quite long.
