Arcane Embrace Divine Throws and How to Get Them in Destiny 2

Arcane Embrace was Destiny 2the first burst-firing shotgun when it was released last year, and for Halloween it returns with classic combos and other recent divine throw options.

While most guards may be on the lookout for the recent Gunburn Kinetic submachine gun during Festival of the Lost, the Arcane Embrace may also be worth chasing – especially if you like Haunted Altars and don’t hit the softlock. If you have a gun from last year, the core benefits of that gun have not changed, but the refurbished pool provides a lot more room for general exploit and some great alternatives to the third column.

Arcane Embrace – PvE God Throw

You can tune your Arcane Embrace for two main roles: dealing damage to bosses/elites or regularly clearing the orange bar. In terms of boss damage, it’s tough to beat our Fourth Time Charm god roll in combination with Precision Instrument. Thanks to them, you can constantly throw bricks at enemies. The former returns ammunition to the magazine, and the latter increases precision damage after subsequent hits.

The Arcane Embrace double shot archetype means you get two stacks of Precision Instrument per burst, and Fourth Time Charm will trigger every two bursts if you land a critical hit. This means that every two bursts you will get an additional one for free, because returning ammo from this perk does not exploit up your reserves. Under the right conditions, you can fire up to 28 rounds without having to reload – 22 of them with the maximum precision instrument stack – without requiring any setup. Bulk fee may be a backup choice if your target is also affected by three elemental debuffs, but we stick with our trusty god roll.

A jealous killer AND Reconstruction they can also work here as they will overfill your clip and that may be enough to get you through the damage phase without reloading as often. We would still take it Fourth time’s a charm however, due to the production of ammunition.

However, if you’re looking for a god roll in Arcane Embrace that focuses on more general gameplay, your options expand significantly. Among other benefits, Dual charging module AND Quick hit can assist you manually load your clip faster and gain access to a number of other damage-related benefits.

Surrounded gains more chances to activate because you will often have other enemies around you. Voltshot gains more utility for removing attachments or shocking enemies, but keep in mind that this may be affected by Jealous Killer and Reconstruction as it only activates after reloading. For Arc builds, A rolling storm allows you to refill your charge with a projectile, although we recommend skipping this if you’re looking for a subclass-independent divine throw.

How to get Arcane Embrace in Destiny 2

This terrifying shotgun is available as part of the Festival of the Lost, Destiny 2Halloween party. The 2025 edition will last until November 11, so time to get it is restricted. Portal rewards from FOTL will drop one level above your normal cap, helping you earn a higher quality version of this shotgun. It didn’t return between this year and last, so this may be your only chance to get this weapon for a while, although Bungie has since introduced other weapons in this archetype The edge of fate.
