The Battlefield 6 Season 1 trailer shows off the Blackwell fields and Eastwood maps ahead of next week’s launch

First Battlefield 6 The Season 1 trailer is now available, giving you a first look at the recent Blackwell Fields and Eastwood maps, recent weapons, and more.

EA and Battlefield Studios have released the debut trailer for the Season 1 update ahead of its release next week on October 28. The two-minute video outlines the team’s plans to keep Battlefield 6 content flowing after a powerful October 10 launch on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S

“Blackwell Fields stretches beneath the burning horizon, beneath the burning horizon, encompassing besieged facilities and homesteads, supporting all combat forces on land and in the air,” reads the official description of the recent Battlefield 6 Season 1 maps. “Eastwood turns a tranquil villa and golf course into a frontline with land vehicles and helicopters in the game.

Today’s trailer for the first season of Battlefield 6 shows the first gameplay on the Blackwell Fields and Eastwood maps, but also updates the content that fans have already come to expect. Formerly BF Studios has shared a roadmap for its first series of seasonal content earlier this month, revealing three waves of updates that will roll out from next week through December 9.

It all starts with next week’s Rogue Ops update, with highlights including Blackwell Fields, Strikepoint Mode, Traverser Mark 2, GGH-22 Pistol, SOR-300SC Carbine, Mini Scout Sniper Rifle, Rail Cover and LPVO attachments, and more. California Resistance content will then arrive on November 18, including the Eastwood map and Sabotage mode for a constrained time, as well as three recent weapons. Finally, the Empire State will be rebuilt into an Ice Castle with the December 9 Winter Offensive update. We know it includes at least one recent tool in the form of the ice climbing ax melee weapon.

Players have spent the weeks since launch exploring all of the weapon attachments, challenges, and camos that Battlefield 6 already has to offer. When the community isn’t recreating Call of Duty maps in Portal or using the Engineer-class repair tool to draw on walls during a match, they’re mostly spending their time encouraging EA and BF Studios to make improvements to the overall experience. One recent change saw developers outline a plan to incorporate feedback on challenges, XP, and progress.

Today’s trailer for the first season of Battlefield 6 shows off the content that will be released throughout the next month.
